who we arE
The Berkeley Animal Rights Center (ARC) is the first community center for animal rights in the US. And now we have two locations! We host community events and trainings for animal rights and social justice advocates and function as an office space, materials building shop, and more!
Join us as we change the world for animals.
What we're about
Community
We host community events to build and sustain a strong and effective movement for animals.
social change
We work to transform Berkeley (and the world) such that every animal is safe, happy and free.
DEVELOPMENT
We offer trainings, lectures, and discussions for new and veteran activists.
Where we are
We have two locations in Berkeley. ARC West - in West Berkeley - is our larger space and it’s where we host most events. ARC Campus - just two blocks from UC Berkeley campus - is our smaller location and is primarily used by students.
